7 Days Chengdu Daocheng Yading Private Tour

Our guide will greet you at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. Chengdu is famous for its leisurely pace—explore nearby night markets for local snacks like “Chuan Chuan Xiang” (skewers) or “Dan Hong Gao” (egg pancakes). Evening stroll through Jinli Ancient Street under glowing lanterns.

After breakfast, drive to Honghai Lake. The water of Honghai Lake sparkles under the sunshine, and it contrasts beautifully with the surrounding mountains. Continue to Yuzixi, where you can enjoy a wide view and overlook the panoramic view of Xinduqiao, a paradise for photography enthusiasts. Arrive at Xinduqiao in the afternoon and check in to the hotel for rest. Xinduqiao is known as the “Photography Paradise”, attracting countless photography enthusiasts to capture the beautiful scenery of grasslands and snow-capped mountains every year.

After breakfast, depart Xinduqiao for Litang, driving through vast grasslands and yak herds. Upon arrival in Litang, visit Letong Ancient Town with its rich history and Tibetan culture. Stroll through its quaint streets and admire Tibetan – style architecture. Head to Shangri-La Town in the afternoon and check into your hotel.

After breakfast, enter Daocheng Yading. First visit Chonggu Temple, the gateway to the scenic area. Then head to Luorong Pasture, surrounded by the three sacred mountains. From here, hike or ride a horse to Milk Lake and Five – Color Lake. Milk Lake’s milky – white waters shimmer in the sun, while Five – Color Lake gets its name from the multiple colors displayed when sunlight refracts through its waters. Experience nature’s sanctity and grandeur here.

 After breakfast, depart Shangri-La Town for Xinduqiao. Retrace your steps through Litang, where you can further explore Letong Ancient Town or stroll on Litang Grassland to experience Tibetan herdsmen’s life. Arrive in Xinduqiao in the afternoon, check into your hotel, and enjoy the sunset over the grasslands, with golden grasslands contrasting beautifully with distant snow – capped peaks.

After breakfast, drive to Muguo Lake, a highland lake with azure waters and snow – capped peaks. Stroll by the lake to enjoy its tranquility. Then head to Kangding, a historically significant Tibetan city and gateway to western Sichuan’s plateau. Finally, return to Chengdu and check into your hotel. In the evening, explore local cuisine at Chunxi Road or Kuanzhai Alleys.

After breakfast, your driver will take you to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. Our staff will assist with check – in to ensure a smooth departure.
