Itinerary
Our guide will greet you at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. Chengdu is famous for its leisurely pace—explore nearby night markets for local snacks like “Chuan Chuan Xiang” (skewers) or “Dan Hong Gao” (egg pancakes). Evening stroll through Jinli Ancient Street under glowing lanterns.
Morning visit to East Suburb Memory, a retro-style cultural park with art galleries and cafes. Afternoon explore Kuanzhai Alley’s Qing Dynasty courtyards and try local snacks. Sip tea at Heming Teahouse in People’s Park while observing local life. Evening free time at Chunxi Road for shopping or hotpot dining.
Morning visit to Chengdu Panda Base to see pandas during their active feeding time (arrive before 9 AM). Afternoon tour of Dujiangyan’s hydrological structures. Evening admire the illuminated Nanqiao and enjoy a local “cold-water fish” hotpot.
Morning drive to Leshan. Choose between two experiences:
Option 1: Boat Cruise
Sail along the Min River for panoramic views of the 71-meter Giant Buddha (40-minute cruise).
Option 2: Hiking Adventure
Climb the steep stairs to the Buddha’s feet and explore Lingyun Temple (2-hour hike).
Afternoon visit to Huanglongxi Ancient Town. Return to Chengdu for dinner featuring “Qiao Jiao Beef” or “Sweet Skin Duck.”
